 ABOUT US

Located in Lethbridge Alberta, the Lethbridge Badminton Club not for profit organization will offer a place for members to learn the game, play for fun, or compete at higher levels within the badminton community. We will offer members the chance to learn a variety of footwork, hand-eye coordination, team communication as well as fitness, which are transferable to a multitude of other sports.

SUNDAY PLAY IS HERE!!!

Who: Should have a good understanding of the Rules of Badminton and be able to hold a rally, judge this for yourself. 

Where: University of Lethbridge South Gymnasium

           Aug 7

           Aug 14

1-4pm (for all dates)

Must have your own racquet and non-marking shoes (Birdies Provided)

Your name MUST be on the list in order to play, you cannot just show up and expect to play (email the club or fill in the contact form below)

MEMBERSHIP: All first time players to a Sunday session must pay a ONE time club fee for this summer: $5 (this will help cover club costs)

Session Fees: ADULTS:$10 (first hour)

                        $5 (each following hour)

                        U18: $5/hour

For Insurance purposes we have to give the university a list of possible attendees, so make sure you get your name on the list if you want to play.

There will be no formal coaching here, this is NOT the format (fees or play) the club will be taking when it starts in October, These sessions are get the community playing and have fun, but that doesn't mean that there won't be some good competition! We will have a process in order to ensure fair play time during the sessions. I f space allows, there may be some singles play, but more likely doubles. If you are rude or disruptive, you may be asked to leave.
